Medical certification

ONLY FOR NON-ITALIAN FEDERATIONS CLUBS AND MEMBERS

In order to be allowed to participate in OriSpring 2017 competition, all non-Italian athletes/members of non-Italian Orienteering Clubs must provide an original medical certificate like the one in the attached form stating that the athlete’s health and physical condition are such as to permit running at a competitive / non competitive level. The certificate duly signed and stamped by the doctor shall be anticipated by mail to info@orispring.it by friday 24th February 2017 and delivered in original to the event center upon arrival. Please use the attachments published on this page (non competitive classes are : M/W 12, Beginners, Direct).

Members of French and Belgian Orienteering Federation can provide the same medical certificate they used to be certified members of their National Federation in 2017. Of course the certificate must be valid at the time of the competition 3/5-Mar 2017.

THIS IS NOT DUE TO ITALIAN ORIENTEERING FEDERATION, IT’S A MATTER OF ITALIAN LAW, WHICH IS VERY STRICT ON MATTERS OF HEALTH AND THEREFORE THE ORGANIZATION CANNOT ALLOW PARTICIPATION WITHOUT THE REQUIRED CERTIFICATION.

No refund will be provided to those who will not provide medical certification (anticipated by email and delivered in original to the event center) and they will not be permitted to start and will not be included in the official results, but they will be given their maps and their race bags (if requested): this means that they can still visit the courses, like in a training, after the competition is over, at their very own risk and responsibility.

Thanks for understanding and for your cooperation in this
